Generally speaking, their are colour codes you can look up on the vehicle...some have these on the door, some in the dash, etc. If you look that up you should be able to use it with a company like YourAutoTrim to find something that closely (or completely) matches what's in there already.

I think that site will send out samples for just a few dollars if you want to make sure

ANy Audi/VW people out there? MY boss has a 98 A4 Quattro 1.8T for sale and I'm thinking about picking it up. It's got 120K, black leather, Blose system, all the goodies and for only $3K. Thats half of what it's worth. I figure I can drive it for a couple years and still recoup my original investment at the least, but I'm sketchy on the maintenance. I know nothing about them aside from their high price to maintain. Any help?

For the price, it might be worth it. Good car, engine has loads of pwoer potential. A chip and a few small things and you are deep in to 200hp with not much work. The engine and drive train will hold and do you solid. The little pieces inside will be a bugabo, but not that big a deal. I would check the condition of the turbo, that could go and you would be pissed. I think there was a rash with CV joints and something in the steering, but it has been over 2 years since I have worked on my friends A4. Safe and vault solid car and I think you will like it, not a rip roaring snorter like the cobra, but will get it done. The Blows system is a pain in the tookus, so not sure if you are going to yank it or not. For daily all year round schleping, you got a good choice.

I agree, but everything is replaceable....some might get sold to me for my boat though. I think the Rlp will make it there.
