YA&Y PT Time!@!!!!!

Sounds like everyone is having a great day...............

Untill now it's been going great. The epoxy holds great, the basket isn't warped, someone is finally buying the 6F cap and I'm going drinking tonight :drink40:

You said you didn't drink a few days ago.

2007 Charger R/T vs. 2005 CTS 3.6L

The more the look the more I like. Not good.

I feel almost the same way about the new "Chargers" that I do about the new "Impalas"

Except rwd >>>> fwd.

Ryan...ever thought of stuff like this as an easy, affordable entry into the audio world?

http://audiojunkies.com/blog/1153/custom-h...ks-from-s-audio

I know that there is a shortage of affordable, well-finished headphone stands out there.

I'd often thought about head phone holders, but never got around to building some. I figured there were plenty out there already. It appears that would be a good market to start in, those plywood ones for 42$ are (in my opinion...) ugly, and overpriced. There is less than 1.50$ in materials in that thing and you can make it in probably 20min if you know what you are doing.

This looks like a very interesting market, thanks for the heads up Neil. :) I think I'm going to have to go visit a lumber yard and pick up some walnut and 'exotics' and start seeing what I can make. Needless to say they will have curves and not be just a regular stand.

I'm already excited about this. :D

I'll give you a $1.50 for a pair :D

I think you'd rather have a stand for about 30$ that is done in steam bent walnut or something along those lines. ;)

Of course, I was just ribbing you since you said you could build them for $1.50. My AKG's could use a holda.

Not much to it really, you just make a 'steam box' thats open on both ends, put your piece in there on some risers, fill it with steam and it takes ~15min for every1/4" of thickness. Then you can bend it around your form.

For these that I'm thinking of, I'll probably do a steel plate with holes drilled in a grid (then use bolts) so I can play around with different configurations and shapes till I find some that I really like. :)

I am sorry to hear that Nick.

I lost my sole remaining grandparent 2 weeks ago today. :(

Fairly good game last night. One of the average teams in the league tried bringing on two ringers who foul the crap out of everyone. Took us a little to get going, but after we tied it 3 to 3, we pulled away in the 2nd half. I wish I could play every night.

:pours a sip on the concrete:

RIP Nan.

sorry to hear that man :(

Gonna get my competetive juices flowing tonight . First race of the 1/8th season is tonight . Friday night thunder...................probably gonna get my arse handed to me though. They changed the track configuration and I will have exactly zero practice time before my first heat race. But I damn sure won't go down without a fight :)

Ugh, got the pan too hot making eggs

Only use for teflon in my book is for making eggs. (crepes I suppose as well) Not so good for the no stick to get teh hot.

Any pictures of your car?

Looks like we got a nice blast of ice in the early early hours this morning. Obviously not much left now (9:15AM CST) but still:
