No, you can still do whatever you want now but will have engineering for the future if you change your mind. You made the right choice. Too much education is never a bad thing.

Maybe later after I already have a BS and still working at the college I'll work on some more classes slowly, but currently with the amount I hate school that wouldn't be cool.

If I stay at the university long enough though I'll probably just continue taking classes and slowly work on a masters or second degree since I'll get 3cr hours free (can take up to 6) while a full time unclassified employee.

If the job falls through horribly though, I just quit and go back to full time, get a degree and get the hell out. I'll be MTS certified and probably get welding certification so I would be well qualified for another lab technician job or something somewhere else.

In fact, professionally right now I'd really, really push everyone to continue on. A Masters really will open up the job market as many of the lower end jobs will be shipped to where it can be done cheaper. Hell I am pretty much the only one in my company that doesn't have a higher degree.

Instead of a standard normal 2-way for my new laptop speakers, any opinions on a 2-way using a MLI-6.5" and a 3" Fostex? Both in std ported boxes since I don't need any low end from the fostex, cross it over at 1khz or something using a 1st order?

I just wrote a long post on response to this, but the forum dumped it on me. Anyway, off the record, there will probably be a small pre-production run of 7-8 logo-less drivers that will only be sold to competent SSA people to give us their insight on the sound and performance, including helping us gear up for their production. While that happens, and nothing is planned to change, we will place an order for a normal build run for them (which includes the ordering of parts specific to this driver). But nothing is official yet, so this post did not really happen.

I agree and disagree to an extent. My near double masters, has helped and hurt. I have lost out on a good number of positions because they felt do to my schooling, that I would cost too much for that they wanted to pay, or that I did not have enough experience to match the level of degrees. So it was the catch 22 for almost 2 years. Not enough experience to match the education, but could not get the experience because they did not want to pay for the education..

Probably what I will run if I do a 3 way dash setup like what is in the Camry, but of course that would mean I'd have to buy the car I saw that has dash firing drivers.

I think that the differentiation is getting stronger though and not weaker as the workforce is even more divided. You and I are in an age group that is 10 years older than these young bucks and I see it as getting more and more difficult to compete with others who already have those degrees when neither have experience. I would also of course recommend that since you realize your issue that you address it up front in the interview. There is a strong possibility that you could have improved your chances by changing your interviewing strategy.

It was always addressed, but something I could not magically change in their eyes. But either way, I am at a good company, the money is not good, and the commute blows. But steady pay of a lower rate is better then unsure pay at a higher rate at this point in my life.
