Damn the prices of houses are a hell of a lot better than they are here. For roughly the same price you can get 2x or 3x the house in and around the St. Paul, MN area. A little 2-3 bedroom 2.5 bath house here in a nice neighborhood compares in price to a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 car garage, separate shop and 3.0 acre property down there.

I know where I will be headed if things stay like this when my contract is up in April 2011. That is going to come up quickly.

Where is that?

i know here in texas u can buy a big ass house for what yall are paying for up north

Texas housing is dirt cheep in comparison. This is true.

I couldn't deal with the heat, or the people. Both would drive me insane eventually.

I'd much rather live in texas than the communist wealth ya'll live in over there...

I know some pretty nice texans actualy.

Somehow I have tropical peoples blood in me. I would rather be hot than cold most of the time.... maybe not texas hot though...

alot of it has to do where u were raised and how long u were there. (my philosphy anyways) :)

cuz my dad came from up north, and the heat was sort of overwhelming and he got used to it though.

he cant really take the cold anymore lol

I don't know if I could ever live in a state that elected Bush as governor, though...and didn't give the rest of the country a warning :P

Same could be said for Florida, I don't see myself there anytime soon, either...

I don't think I could ever live in a state that would elect AHNALD as their governor either

The Governor of Texas is more of a figurehead position than anything anyhow

Lieutenant Governor has the most power of any politician in the state

Commander-in-chief of the state's military forces, duty to enforce state laws, power to either approve or veto bills passed by the Texas Legislature, convene the legislature, grant pardons in cases other than impeachment

Our governor looks and acts like a male but is a female

our lieutenant governor looks and acts like a female and is a male...

It's crazy

There are D*ck heads everywhere you go, though I would rather put up with incompetent morons over snoody rich ass holes.

Point in Case - Rich bastard that pulls up in his M6 at Starbucks and double parks..... in the Handicap spots! I really just wanted to stomp a quarter panel in, but i couldn't do that to a BMW :)

Our Gov. is a total follower of the Clinton plan, he has and will pillage all resources to get to the next level and lie like crazy to get there. No one knows anything about our Lt. Gov., he is is never in the news. The Mayor of Baltimore is just as corrupt as the current Gov. who just happened to be the previous mayor. She is currently under investigation for serious charges of misappropriation of funds and pressuring contractors to give gifts for children only to use them for herself. Her enunciation of the English language is embarrassing for me to call her the mayor of the city I work in. Democrats here have ruined much of the ability and shape of this wealthy state and have turned the masses into blind haters and attackers of anyone or anything that is not of their party. Very sad and scary at the same time. :(

I did, however, let him know that his actions were not appreciated in an "indirect" sort of manner

explain...

and did u call ur aunt?

Well, it depends on the situation. Snooty pricks can be useful from a connections standpoint, but incompetent morons can be exploited :P
