Thats right. we are trying to verify a new Anemometer is within calibration and that is the only other flow meter we have in the plant.

won't volume decrease with the pressure increase so you have to use mass?

use your steam tables (or ideal gas laws) to get the density of the outgoing gas, figure out mass, mass flow rate out = mass flow rate in, figure out density on the intake side, and voila, volume of incoming gas
