I'm trying to find a tuner, or some engine mods to see what the engine I have in the truck is capable. They lowly 5.4 2v gets no luv. I think I might call KB here in a min though and see what they say but work is a bit sketchy today.

CNBC reports that Netflix' shipping systems have been at least partially broken since Tuesday. They managed to ship nothing on Tuesday, half of what they were supposed to on Wednesday, and nothing today.

They sent me an email about it, but we got our next movie. :)

I looked at an MB E430 the other day and noticed the build tag said "Manufactured by Daimler-Chrysler. Apparently the E-class cars were not good enough for Benz to build?

I really do like that Charger though. Might have to find one to test drive somewhere. They look awful roomy. I am in need of a big car. Sick of messing around with these little shits, and aside from the CV/Marauder/Grand Marquis, Chrysler is the only other company building a full-size vehicle with V8 power and RWD.

Daimler is the parent company of Mercedes-Benz. So when they bought Chrysler, all cars were under the Daimler-Chrysler umbrella for a few years. They have not really had many markings on the more modern Mercedes, but my older model has a number of Daimler-Benz logo's on it.

G8?

they aren't selling well so you could probably make a good deal with the dealership

Amazing piece of shit on the inside. :( I went and looked at one and decided it wasn't even worth the drive. The GTO is world's nicer on the inside.

really? I know a guy with one, and I think the interior is only barely behind the GTO's

I think he got the upgraded interior package though

A guy on the LS1Truck forum made an HHO kit and its is really peaking my interest

I have seen those. I don't know if I beleive in it.

Unless the guy is going for a good long term scheme. He did a unit on his truck, posted pics and claimed an 8MPG increase with his silverado. He got 25 MPGs out of it. He is starting to sell a kit but he's a pretty respected member and has been there over a year.

I also haven't heard anything bad about the fitch fuel catalyst, been loooking at that as well.

The seats are plastic, the door cards are ridiculous, the dash looks like a mid-90's Chrysler. Close the door once and get ready to laugh. The fit and finish is laughable for a Holden as well. I had a really good experience in the GTO. Nice leather, things fit and had a Japanese/German quality feel to most of the inside. Sure there were some GM parts bin leftovers, but in general I was pretty impressed with the inside of that car. The G8 on the other hand I really feel is a good 10 years behind where it needs to be. Too bad too, since it is so nice on the outside. Hopefully the GXP will come out soon with AWD and real leather.

btw, I asked about an upgraded interior and the dealer (probably an idiot) said there wasn't anything else available.

the "Premium Package" includes the better interior, and I believe the "Sport Package" includes a better steering wheel

I must be like the only car guy who doesn't really care about how the dash looks

FUCK mil-spec connections.

Fuck them all to hell.

I fucking hate soldering up a connection and realizing you forgot to put shit on that you have to before you solder up the ends.

Fuck this, I'm ready to drink beer.

Not in the best of moods..

<--already drinking beer

Those things are a beyotch.

I forgot to get up this am and put my brisket on :( I knew there was some reason my alarm was set for 5, perhaps turning it on would have helped.

Now I have to put it on at midnight so it will be done at noon tomorrow. I was so looking forward to dinner. :(
