Its still dark outside, but I do have my camera with me for when I go back home for lunch.

I just ran power and ground straight to the battery to get rid of my trying to find a damn wire...

For the win. I did the same for positive. Ground...I used a bolt on the floor.

MK4 Golf and 1999+ Passat both have a big fuse box under the dash and the power wire is attached to the fuse box with a ring terminal.

Red wire to the 880 for me too. Stupid clump of wires in the truck. Everytime I hooked a ground or hot to the receiver it would magicaly loose it's current. I got pissed and just hard wired it.

I really need my lawyer to come through. We file in federal court soon, probably have a good chance of winning against the insurance company just so long as the case is not dismissed. I could really use 30-50k right now.

Ok, here are a couple photos of my yesterday afternoons work. The black does blend in a lot better with the interior than the pictures show, and yes, my car is dirty.

Kent, I see no marks in the grass, so I take it you hit that thing balls to the wall?

ummm, no? i remember thinking it had anti locks, turn right and grab brakes....it did neither. meaning turn or stop, lol. that's a fairly large area, i thought i could just do a quick 180 or so and be on my way. boy, was i wrong! and it was early evening, no rain, so no really wet grass, maybe damp. but tires on the car are < 3 months old, brakes ~ 1 month. hell, i don't know. the whole thing is just flat weird.

and to top it off, the last two days i've developed a pain between my shoulder blades, centered off to the left. sends a stab of pain up my neck whenever i turn my head to the left. and i can't sleep worth a crap. so i get to call my chief today and see what he wants me to do. yay for me.

thanks for the concern tom. like previously mentioned, i was way lucky. did i mention that that was the only time that day i didn't have a seatbelt on? yeah...talk about timing.

doctor tomorrow at 10:15. hopefully it's nothing. pain isn't serious, on a scale of 10, it's about a 4 when i turn my head and about a 2 when i'm doing nothing. more of a nuicance then anything right now. but i don't want it to get worse.

I'd also HIGHLY recommend the 1989-1995 5 series BM'ers. Probably the most reliable of the lot and a hell of a lot of fun with the 3.5L as well.

Running back up's. Because while we are finding a new host, I am forced to do part of the job of a host and constantly back-up the site. So all database's, home directory, and full site are being backed-up right now, so there might be a little lag in the load time.
