  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

King's mathcad worksheets come to mind on being able to actually model that correctly, but I doubt anyone who can do good work with those would bother spending the time to model a woofer box, and that cat has already been skinned lots of different ways.

Double post FTL!

nice job fucktard :fing34:

My word is being used again! Against me!!! What is this world coming to, at least give me the credit!

Show me the patent!

Nope, don't need any.

Professional engineers can't make a model that matches reality and you expect to? If not, I might not have a job.

So that's what you do that has you flying all over the world :fing34:

Look it up

Edit: Can you really have a patent of copyright on a word?

Note, by model I meant any mechanical model with more than just a couple DOF's not only speaker related. In the case here the model would have to include the car. Good luck, the big 3 sure fail at it.

I don't care if you have a PhD and are a professor, its obvious that you don't know how things actually work...

There is a reason for that acronym. Push here Dummy.

Piled Higher and Deeper

From my research you get a wider range of efficiency over a regular ported enclosure, more cone control over the range.
What kool-aid?

Figure of speech, but in reference to believing that your "research" will equate to reality in the car.

So then you have experience with these enclosures in a vehicle?

Nope, don't need any.

And yet engineers still make and use models. I never said anywhere that I expect to match reality, isn't that what your supposed to do. Create a design, test the design, make changes to improve the design, test new design, etc.

That really looks awesome mang!

IT'S ALIVE!!! :nightrider:

only half alive

yesterday:

we still can't get the other side to work

so I swap the motor controllers side to side

now the other side works

"it's gotta be the wiring"

**smacks forehead** "no, it's the motor controller"

so I send him to talk to the place we got them from to see if they can test 'em

today:

"no, they didn't test them, but they must be good, let's try it again"

"fine" **tries**

one side works

**swaps**

other side works

"get the fucking controllers tested"

There is tech out there also where when you apply the brakes of a vehicle it uses a roller to store energy, be it compressed air or otherwise, and then when you take off you can engage the stored energy to take less stress off the engine. I would think a hundred PSI from a stop or 2 could really help you off the line.

:D

Probably more work than it's worth and might weigh you down so it would hurt performance when just running on the engine... Worth looking into.

I know I would be impressed if you did it!

i may be mistaken but didn't ford make a fullsize truck with this technology already that gets obscene gas mileage however it is not in production because they're fucktards?

regenerative breaking has been in production cars for at least a couple years and as a concept, several years before that

Thanks Adrian :)

Just some nice coax off deck power is planned.

I thought you said you were going to make it sound good?

He wants to keep it looking stock ;)

Not tooting my own horn but to un-advised people that sat in my car it wasn't too sure if I upgraded the sound system or not.

But if it's what the customer wants (and he can't be advised to do it better) that's what he'll get.

Ughhh....binary :(

Had to learn that day in day out

for logic circuit designs.

Wasn't too bad, but gets confusing if you aren't careful ;)

That was one big juicy fail :(

Not as juicy as this thing though, the famous Big Jud!

Right now, that looks unapealing :P

Just had some toast with chicken breast and milk for breakfest.

If you were over here, you would be all over that! It's a local place :)
