I'm really interested in this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16183_...k+METER-4.html#

Anyone have experience?

Sonic is fine, that piece isn't necessary though.

I know the site is okay, why do you say it isn't necessary?

I really don't understand why you would want it. It does no benefit IMO.

I want to have voltage and temperature of my SAZ-3000D in view.

What part of the amp are you going to monitor the temperature on? ... and why?

Voltage is easy and you don't need that piece of junk to do it.

So you don't like the company? Why?

You didn't even come close to answering my question either. :(

Sorry Sean. I would like to monitor the temperature on the heatsink. Where would you suggest?

Voltage should be simple to understand guys, I'm not going to pop my trunk and run out with my DMM every few minutes to check voltage I want something I can always see. Like the voltage at my rear battery bank.

Why are you wanting to measure sink temp? Are you going to be running cooling to it, or shutting it down if it gets too hot?

I think the voltage gauge on the dash should be more than sufficient...but that's just me...

Man i went and heard a van yesterday with 8 DD 12s (not sure on the model or power running to them) and man it sounded good. It had great sq and also had real low lows.

The speakers sounded so tight and accurate. We listened to jazz on it and the sq was just amazing. He was also running crossfire comps.

I need all the stuff to get here for my system =(

Front stage?

Crossfire speakers off the deck. He didn't say what model but he either said 6.5s or 6x9s Im not sure what kind of deck it was i wasn't paying much attention but i did see that it said the voltage on the deck and i thought that was pretty cool.

Epic Fail x2

Anybody see "The Hangover" yet?

I just saw it. Its funny as hell haha.

Just got done fishing for a few hours in a lake that just opened a couple months ago after being closed for about 4 years. My friend and I caught a bunch of tiny bass and perch, probably 30 between us. None of the bass were over about 7" and 1/4 lb. We were like really, is this all that's in here? Where are your parents?

If you have not seen it yet, check out the skin Mark just did for SSA. It is called Bloodshot, you can select it from the bottom left drop down menu at the bottom of the forum screen.

Again, another reason why SSA is unmatched in constantly improving and working towards an even better site.

:)

Had a good day. Got a free leaf blower that was on someones trash can and took it home threw the engine on a pedal bike and cruised

Quick question -

I was planning on getting this head unit -

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P4100UB/Pi...UB.html?tp=5684

But recently i saw this one went on sale and is cheaper than the one i was going to get -

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P6000UB/Pi...UB.html?tp=5684

I did the comparison of the 2 and the only real differences are

------ 4100 ------------------------ 6000 --------

Organic EL display ----------- Blue display

7 band eq ---------------------- 3 band eq

Easy eq ------------------------ Eeq (assuming they are the same)

Flip down face ----------------- Doesn't flip down

Rear aux input ---------------- Front aux input (im gunna use the usb so it doesn't really matter)

Super tuner IIID --------------- Super tuner III-D (assuming they are the same)

So really the only differences are the EQ, Display, And flip down capability.

What would you get if it was up to you?

Edit - the little chart thing i made messed up :P

I haven't shit in 5 days, this gas they pumped into me is killing me, and the vicodin makes me sleepy for a couple hours then I'm wide awake again. Add into that I live with a total bitch and this is turning into an UGLY summer.

Might have to sell the new wheels to buy another house. . .
