Perco has been outlawed for a while. When I was doing fire and water restoration, the only thing we could use was mineral spirits. I know it's not the same industry, but the cleaning principle was the same and we had to abide by the same laws. Of course things may have changed again. I remember when you couldn't find Xylene anywhere thanks to the EPA, and now I see it everywhere.

Your license doesnt even expire till your 65 if you dont want it to. So yea thats safe, lets guarentee you are gonna be good till senior citizen. And then its one about 25 for another 10 years, and so on.

You wanna see shitty drivers go to Kuwait, go drive with some bored soldiers, or try and teach a 18 year old who only got his license 2 months ago how to drive a 15 foot tall truck thats about as long as an Explorer and a half (maybe 2) and have to teach him how to back up with no glass rearview mirro and only hand signals in his mirrors. That shit scares the living fuck out of you.

a license in no way means you're a safe and competent driver, i definitely wasn't when I got mine, it just means I learned a handful's worth of info and passed their test (as well as drove 3 days for my track coach).

So if I happen to not be able to get a license because I failed to turn in tags to my xfire that i totaled and has been caught up in legal bullshit....which can happen in VA, you think that if i drive I should go to jail so you can pay to keep me there till i learn my lesson?

I can only imagine that crazy assed shit...most of the men in my family (both sides) served in the Armed Forces in some branch or another and my god the stories I have heard...soldiers are knucking futs!

AZ is ridiculous as far as licensing goes. When you move here from another state, you don't need to take any test, they just give you an AZ license.

Well I don't deal with the regulations of the business as it's running, only if there is a spill. Which, I have seriously seen the groundwater under entire towns polluted to non-drinkability because of dry cleaners, and you'd be hard pressed to find a town without PCE in it. But not only is it a drinking water problem, but vapor intrusion into basements and things as well.

If it was the test would involve situations of handeling a vehicle in a what if type fation, and it wouldn't cost us as tax payers. It's revenue generating.

I got me a Huge fine once for that not knowing my liscence was suspended. Camera cop got me. That officer, the assistant DA, the judge, myself all wasted time with something so trivial. I will never be caught without one again (I hope). In my case I never knew I had a ticket however.

The drivers liscence provides nothing in the way of safety for those on the road.

I drove everywhere and evrything, as long as it was for the farm. I never acted stupid though.
