Posted October 22, 200816 yr Hey I have a US Amps MD2D that the remote wire screw on it happened to break off in the hole that you screw it into. I was wondering how would I go about replacing the power ground remote block for it and how much that would cost. The amp was bought from an authorized seller at the time around 2 and 1/2 years ago. Its a 2005/6 model.
October 22, 200816 yr I got almost the same problem. one of the speaker thread is messed up and I cant get any screws to work with it.
October 23, 200816 yr Let me double check to see if I can quote something other than flat rate on those.200.00 is the flat rate on the MD2D out of warranty.
October 24, 200816 yr I'd just solder a remote wire on there with a quick disconnect a few inches from the terminal.
October 25, 200816 yr wouldnt something like a screw extractor work? to get the broken screw out and then just find a screw that will fit in it's place?
