Did a couple of search's and did not find anything close to what I wanted to know. Bassically is the regular anodized aluminum trim plate that sits on top of the map removable without doing anyharm to the amp itself, by removing the 2 SHCS located on either end. Reason why I am asking is I wanted to make a custom plate for mine.

Yes removable, with out harm that is up to you just make sure you dont slip and scratch it. :P

Basically just to be a little different, add my own signature to the install when I start to do it. There's not much I can't do when it comes to working with raw materials and making an end product. I guess you could call it a little customization.

I would guess that your a "cnc" or tool setter by looking at your name

Tool and Diemaker actually by trade. I can program,set-up, and run, CNC equipment(lathes,mills,routers,wire edm,etc) on top of my other duties.
