advice on amp ventilation

Hey Jacob,

I am looking to make an amp rack in the wheel well and I will be putting 3 amps in it, the 1200D, 100.4 and 125.2 for now.. I was wondering if I do this will I need to add a fan or anything? or do you think it would be better to make an amp rack on the top of the trunk? Perhaps even on the Box if I have room? just wondering what you think I would need if I am forced to go with the wheel well, just don't want them to run hot due to insufficient ventilation.

BTW Those amps are quite beefy and look great!

I imagine you'll be covering it with that false floor and carpet? If so, you will need ventilation. Try putting two fans down there, one on each end of the amps, with one pushing air into the tire well and the other pulling the air out and pushing it into the trunk.

I agree, I have seen a number of push-pull set ups like that and they seem to work well.
