I heard a rumor from a local Team Sundown Member that there is a Sundown 125.4 on the way.....

How true is that?

Thought this would gather more interest than this in an hour!

im poor

I've heard about a lot of the new stuff in the works but haven't heard anything about that. You sure he didn't mean the new sax-125.2? It's already out. The sax-100.4 is also new with upgraded crossover features and then there is the new sax-50.4.

I definitely heard about a future 125.4

I want one! Thats the only reason I ask

I'm aware of the output of the 100.4.

My thing is that if I buy the 100.4 and then a month later

a 125.4 comes out for a couple hundred more, I'm gonna be pissed

I'm a power whore!

That will not happen... If Jacob changed the name which I don't think he will the power difference would be minimal. The 100.2 is pretty much the same as the 125.2 pound for pound. It was way underrated so the name was updated.

He will not redo an amp for an extra 25 watts per channel, he only renamed the 100.2 to a 125.2 because it put out that much power. Buy a 100.4, it is underrated, and if he decides to change it we will not change anything but the name.

Hmmmm. Ok. Guess 100.4 will be good enough.

What do they do at 2ohms per channel?

Thats what I'd be running it at

~160 at 2 ohms.

I will stack the 100.4 up against any four channel made. Power, control, clarity, reliability, customer service, warranty, price, etc... It is very tough to beat.

Awesome.

I like very powerful mid range response and have the speakers to support my addictions

I am not working on a 125.4 at this time.

Then maybe you should get started..........

:wacky:

I wouldnt waste my time with a 125.4...

i like to see a 150.4 or 175.4 or maybe 200.4, that would be awesome.

HUGE sellers? Or HUGE amps?

I'm figuring both. I'd take a 200.4!

Not sure about the huge seller part... but they would be gigantic physically. An SAX-200.4 would probably be about 30" long.

  • Admin

So you are saying the SAX-200.4 would be about the size of an MS1000?

:P

I'm still sticking with my idea of a 3000D and a 1000.4 in the same heatsink. Jake won't build one though :(.
