I have a friend thats pretty familiar with Fi and and most audio, he has told me that Fi is coming out with a 22" speaker in the future. I'm just wondering if thats a lie.

from what ive heard and read it will all depend on the success of the 15" and 18" versions of the new AA smd sub

No real interest in doing a SMD 22...time will tell with that one.

We'll see what happens with the other stuff. The 22" frame is a 12 spoke basket.

From prelim testing the BL and BTL will both support the 22" moving mass. Neither the Q nor SSD will. There will be an IB 22" as well, but it remains to be seen what platform it will be on. Most likely the Q motor, and not the standard IB3.
