The general consensus I get from everyone is (aside from enclosures being a variable) that the Q's are low end monsters and the Bl's hard hitters.

Just wondering how well do the Bl's play the low notes ?

I have a 18 inch bl and it dominates the lows. It also pounds the highs. It is a all around good sub. Its sq is decent as well.

How low do you want to play? Rap music?

I have two 18's and they will be going into a 16cuft wall tuned to 32hz.

I listen to drum and bass, house, trance and everything else bar rap and r&b.

iv got a 15 bl and it handles the lows good but the highs it can seriously hammer. most people i know love 18 q's for the lows

Sounds like you already have them, I'd get the wall built ;)

In the right enclosure they can definitely get the lows (assuming you mean 30hz range) well.

hard hitters? Like barrybonds.jpg and ray_lewis4.jpg?

Yeah had them for a couple of months now, build was meant to start at the end of this week but got a serious radiator leak out of nowhere :(

A more important question on my mind is should I stick with a Trutech Hammer H1 per sub or a DDZ1 between the two ?

Yeah RayRay! ;)

hard hitter like that boy bun b

I got 2 12 bls and they get low so I can only imagine 18s.

i am running 2 BL 18's in little over 15 cubes after sub and port tuned to 33hz and it picks up the lows awesome. They sound great on just about anything
