So now am hearing the ssd w/ flatwind coil is similar to the re audio sx, but i thought the Q was similar? Which is true? And which sub has the better bottom end sound Q or SX?

So you want a sub that hits the lows good? SSA ICON is your best bet

The ssd with flatwind coils is like the sx except the motor. as for bottom end efficiency, someone else with experience with the Q will chime in.

Or a well built box.

SSD with flatwind is similar in most respects to an SX. Although the SSD has more suspension to it.

Q is a solid step up in the SQ department and from tests, in output as well over the SX.

i like the Qs low end.. very nice sub all around.
