Posted August 5, 200916 yr In response to the current economic situation we are lowering our MAP pricing. Cost for our amps from an authorized dealer outside of a pre-order or special sale have changed as follows :SAZ-1000D : $355 OLD / $315 NEWSAZ-1500D : $570 OLD / $500 NEWSAZ-2000D : $670 OLD / $615 NEWSAX-125.2 : $255 OLD / $240 NEWSAX-100.4 : $395 OLD / $365 NEWThe prices listed under "NEW" are now available at any authorized Sundown dealer. I sent out a dealer news-letter this morning, so if your dealer has any questions have them call me.
August 5, 200916 yr Price drop agreed. Money is tight. Economy is well, eh....not so hot. We are really busy here, but that's not the case with other business's I have talked to.I got all the prices updated in my store.I sure hate to see the SAX-50.4 go. I disagree with what most customers have said as Jacob cited it.... I think in this lower power, smaller footprint class, that the crossovers on the SAX-50.4 make it exceptional compared to all the other "dime a dozen" small 4 channel amps out there that have crap for crossovers. I had one, an Alpine MRV-F250 and I replaced it with an SAX-50.4 and I was UBER happy with it. The SAX-50.4 is twice as loud, and sounds twice as good thanks to the fancy crossovers.... The Alpine had just basic crossovers, HPF, LPF, and nothing else, no options.
August 5, 200916 yr Author It is relatively new -- not nearly as popular as I expected based on the number of people that asked for a smaller four channel.I suspect a more power / cheaper amp with less crossover features would be a better seller.
