Posted August 8, 200916 yr Jacob recommend I throw 2 12 SA D4's in my 3 series BMW, and I am going to place the order, but what should i use to power them? Should i just get 1 amp (1500) or get two 1000's. The amp is going to be a sundown model so that's what we are working with.
August 9, 200916 yr yea... that's a 0.5 ohm nominal load too which isnt recommended for daily driving.the saz-1500d is still a good choice for such install.Any 1200-2000w that is capable of doing rated power at 1ohm or bridged at 4 ohm is fine as long as you have the electrical system for it.

I don't really like the idea of running it that low, what do you recommend? Can't i just wire both so the load is still 4ohm?
August 9, 200916 yr no, that 1900w rating that was mentioned was on a 0.5 ohm load.Dual 4 ohm subs can be wired to 1ohm so you're fine.
