Hello All,

I am looking a few amp reccomendations for my FI Q 12" preferably not over $500.00. I was origanaly thinking of going with one of the new soundstream 4channel amp and bridge 2 but i dont think it will be enough power so am looking for a few more reccomendtions to point me in the right direction...

Well, depends on if you're going with the BP option or not. Before, I had a 12" Q on a Kicker ZX.1500 with the BP option and it was good quality match-up. I even put it on 2 Q 12's and that was still good, although they were only getting about 800 watts. You can find some good kicker amps on e-bay for about $450. Either way, I suggest mono, not bridging a 4 or 2 channel.

Is it a dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohms subwoofer?

If you havent bought it yet I recommend a dual 2 ohm subwoofer (wired parallel to 1 ohm load) and get a 1 ohm stable amp. Sundown FTW!!!

Your a fucktard if you want to put more than 1000 watts on a Q.

going to go with the soundstream ref 1.1000 should be in end of next week at my local dealer....

There really is no need to push the Q so far past it's rms. 1000 is plenty.
