I am considering an Eclipse CD7200 Mk II, which has 8v pre-outs.

I'm wondering if there is going to be a compatibility issue since sundown amps are specified for up to 6 volts.

Simple answer..... No....

I'm using a 7200mk2 on amps that accept 2volts and they are fine. Remember it doesn't output 8v from 0 volume only at VERY high volumes and they tend to clip the preouts before then anyway.....

i'm using that headunit. no problem at all, and when using a cd it didint skip at 157db and also demo playing. . a vey nice headunit though

I have 2 Eclipse head units ...they both work great ......both are 8 volt out

I have the BLA for my 8053, but have not installed it.
