I just got my Saz 3000d in and it popped a fuse, but first it went into protected mode, i have 1/0 wire going to the battery and a big 3 done in 1/0 weird thing when it popped i was doing about 13v then protect, then pop. idk what happened no shorts seem to be prevalent i dont know

well, quick way to test for short is to put another fuse in there. If it pops immediately..short..

If it pops as soon as the amp turns back on.. could be damaged power supply.

If it only pops under crazy loud scenarios... you pullin too much power probably.

Are you wired properly?

Check resistance with amp off. You should be readin no lower than 0.6 ohms.

yeah im reading 2 ohms im thinking i need more ah in the rear? i was doing like a 40-10hz tone and it protected and then popped

u were doin a sweep down to 10hz?

That can cause a major drop in impedance rise going that low...

Also, make sure your sub is still reading properly just in case so we know that u didnt damage your sub too.

You can't expect more requirement for battery if your voltage never dropped below 13v unless you didnt measure it the whole time.

you better read up on that article Sundownz posted. IT also happens above tuning as well...

Now, for you to be wired at 2 ohms is kinda odd and i doubt u'd be having current pull problems though.....

do you still run on stock alternator?

If you do then it must be low voltage problem...

Turn car off, disconnect hc600 and read it's rest voltage about 3 hrs after disconnecting so it can settle down.

Do not read rest voltage while still connected as the starting battery will be bleeding into it as well.

You MUST be careful if i'm right about your electrical system. You can cause alternator and\or battery failure soon if not careful.
