Posted October 10, 200915 yr Hey guys would 1.2 cu ft sealed be alright to run this 12" xcon sub with 1540 watts rms?
October 10, 200915 yr That's right on the edge, but you should be fine. Add a little polyfill to help the response out.

October 10, 200915 yr Author With it being right on the edge will I miss out on the lows? Also would I be better off going with the FI Q due to box size? Also will there be a huge difference with the xcon over the q? I was told that the xcon will play higher and be alot louder. Edited October 10, 200915 yr by ron82nd
October 10, 200915 yr Admin That box size is good. I did much of our prototype testing in a 1.1 cube box. As mentioned above by John and Jay-cee, you can add some polyfill if you like to make the Xcon think it is in a larger box. But either way, the Xcon will be good to go in that box size.
