I have had this amplifier for a while now and was actually unsure of the real specs when I purchased it, just was convinced it was a solid amp. I have searched everywhere to find the numbers but I find different numbers everywhere. I had a bench done and the power supply cut off before it's full potential (I am guessing). Just wondering if anyone has run a proper test on the ax3200de specifically (not the ax3000) and has some power ratings, damping factors, etc...

Thanks

What are you saying, that the amp didnt put out full power when testing it? Give us some more info about the testing process and results.

I don't have the necessary equipment so I didn't perform the test but it was more of a burn in type thing, basically checking if it worked properly. Although, I believe it did draw up to 308 amps before the supply cut off, I am guessing the voltage was between 12.5 and 14.4. Sorry for the sketchy information, not 100 percent sure so I didn't include the information. I guess I am basically wondering if someone else has done a better test and will share their results. Or if someone has experience with the amp what their estimates and opinions were of how it performed.

Just found results online ranging from 1000 - 3000 at 4 ohms, 2800 - 4400 at 1 ohm, that it's .5 ohm stable, even .25 in some applications kicking out 7800. I am kinda confused. It only has a 300 amp fuse and accepts up to 15.9 V.

Hopefully Greg will answer your question shortly. :)

The specs in the manual are the CEA ratings anything other than that is up for speculation I would have to sit down with a resistive load and do EVERYTHING thus stopping woofer production.
