Posted October 16, 200915 yr i have a 3500d if i run it at 4 ohms would i still need to upgrade to more batteries and alt or could i just have the big 3 done.
October 16, 200915 yr i think u would BUT... because u have that 100.4 in there too.. I don't think the Big 3 alone will prevent light dimming. You can get by without a battery but u may have some light dimming.
October 16, 200915 yr why would you use a 3500 at 4ohm? just get a nice 2channel amp. 750 rms isn't to much. and yes i think you will need another battery a small one to prevent your lights from dimming!
October 16, 200915 yr he's prob gonna run it liek that til he saves up money to buy a good battery and alt to run it at full potential.
October 16, 200915 yr Author going to save up for bat and alt, but i havent decided if i want to go all out on this system or wait for new car. i have 3 other amps to choose from. if i go all out right know my system will be worth more than the car

October 19, 200915 yr i had an suv, but i sold it and i have a 2000 accord, i want to get an suv again but dont know if i should wait. plus i need some shit for my gsxr600.nice bike, but if it were me, i'd sell the bike, and build a badass system. 1kw, plus that 100.4, so ur looking at 1400-1500 watts, IMO that's still in need of a decent battery. maybe at least get a small kinetik or something as a nice starting battery. like a hc1200 or something. I always recommend kinetik, IMO, along with some very smart intelligent electrical experts, they are the best.
