One of my four had the spider separate from the basket as well . i got the glue you recomended jacob and it has worked so far but im hoping it will last. how much are recones gonna be just wondering? Other than that these little guys RIP!

Quick question, I just got my SA-8 and will be bridging ch 3&4 on the SAX 100.4 to power it (~320w @ 4ohm). I read the box size recommendation post (1.25ft^3 for around 325w) can I go smaller say .8ft^3? Will it still sound good with that amount of power?

I think that it would; what you read was power handling at a certain box size; that doesn't mean you HAVE to run that box size at that power.

1.2 - 1.5 ft^2 enclosure with one 8 inch port... start with length around 12" and then adjust to create highest SPL at 60 Hz. Woofers facing to front and port facing to back.

Calculation may not be correct with port length so testing is needed.

Thus about 34-42 liters, tube 20 cm (8") about 30 cm long

I made a box of 35 liters, with pipe diameter of 16 cm, 19 cm long.

burp at 73hz, but the result was very low!

60hz is much more, so I'm totally out right! What do you recommend?

To peak at 73 Hz you will need to tune likely around 64-67 Hz... try pipe length of 29 cm

If this also does not work try pipe diameter of 10 cm x 9 cm length.

These are two photos of the hood, box and batteries should go in the boot, while the amplifier is attached to the back turned

The problem is phasing of port to woofer cone. It would be ideal for SPL for the woofers to face forward and the port backward.

Can you fold down the seats for SPL and do this ?

ie?

subwoofers facing forward, toward the dashboard

and the tube facing the back door?
