Either The Q or the Bl would go good with that power. but the Q isn't available in 10's

Why isnt this in the Fi section? What kind of space are you talking about here?

from Fi

BL 10 – Ported box we recommend using .5-1.2 cubic feet from 30-37Hz tuning with ~15 square inches of vent. (IMO 32hz tuning daily driving is optimal)

We do have Q 10's..kinda weird it isn't on the main page though. I'll have to ask the web guy..he might have deleted it accidentally

I know the Fi specs. Im talking about the space you have in your vehicle.

How about you read new member guidelines and give us more information than that the next time you post, so we can better help you.

What space is available, what are your goals, there is no best anything (what fits you is what your looking for), what type of enclosure do you want and so on? This type of information.

I want to put them under the back seat of a 2001 Chevy Z71 ex-cab. I have about 1.6 cubic ft (not to sure) in a ported box with them facing to the front of the truck. I have a arc audio ks 1000.1 right now. I have two Jl 10w6v2 right now with one Arc Audio ks 1000.1, they are down firing in a ported box tuned to 31hzs ( i don't like the down firing ) I'm Looking into getting a new box with some FI (not sure witch ones yet) tuned to around 33hzs and maybe adding one more amp for the subs, I just want a little more then what i have right now... Sorry for putting in the wrong section and thanks for all help!!!!!!!

Power isn't your problem, space is. 2cuft is rather easy in those trucks, but more can be had if necessary. How far are you willing to take it? The BL's will be louder. A single 12" BTL could be made to fit as well.

Not sure what your beef with downfiring is, it would surely help to know.

X2. Ive always heard good things about downfiring. I wanted to try one to see how much the vibration noises change when not firing striaght up.

I'm thinking about getting 2 BL 10s and as far as im willing to go with it not to sure have about $1000 to spend as of right now One blt does sound nice but would i need a different amp?.There is no beef with down firing it just one of my w6 ripped the cone on it from hitting the floor. There is a raise part for support on the bottom of the cab witch the sub was mounted behind but i think my boxed moved causing it to hit that witch made it rip the cone around the foam and its 250 each sub to get them coned ( still waiting for them to come back) it was my fault for not checking to box to see if it moved. But is did sound good.

A blt does sound pretty tasty right now...but really a BTL would be great without having to change the amp. 1000rms will still have the BTL singing loud. Just make sure you have enough clearance next time.

That isn't a downfiring problem but a box problem. You really should have at least 3" of clearance after excursion, yours obviously didn't even have enough for excursion.

The BTL will be Fi's LOUDEST sub even if every sub only gets 1w.
