Cant wait to see the pics for this, I never understood why people with fast ass cars want radar detectors. Everybody knows you bought the car to go fast every now and then and if you have the money to buy it then you have the money to spend on speeding tickets. Just my .02, I wouldnt have a radar detector in any car I owned (if I get caught thats my fault should of been more observant, thats my slogan in life).

What all stereo upgrades is he doing, or is just switching from stock head unit to after market head unit?

I won't drive without one. Your logic on being observant still holds true, but even when I am driving normal I like to use one as a spotter so that when I don't I am prepared.

cannot wait for this either. I really like the flat black look. I think everyone should have a radar detector. It makes a lot of people better drivers.

A radar detector doesnt make you a better driver it makes you a better speeder since it lowers your risk of getting caught, if your believe that then you need a radar detector (common sense, the well being for your life, defensive driving and following the speed limit is what makes you a better driver). A radar detector makes you a better cheater, just like texting and calculators in class (they didnt make you smarter, it just helped you get away with doing something illegal which was cheating).

Now I do agree with you ///M5, sometimes you arent that observant all the time so it could come in handy. I just rather do a little over and coast when I can, anyother time getting somewhere few minutes faster with the risk of $100 or more for speeding just isnt for me (Id rather spend that money on car audio or something else).

This makes them more attentive and follow the driving laws better which in turn makes them better drivers at those moments when the radars are going off.

, if you believe that or other people do then everybody with that thought and theory need help. You should be attentive and follow driving laws regardless of the situation, there to help you drive better and to keep the streets safe (not a radar detector, c'mon son you cant believe that). Regardless of who does it (you or others, doubt you would be speaking for others if you dont do it-just speak for yourself), that shouldnt make you a better driver. Paying attention to the road should be the smartest thing in the world since you are driving what could be one of the most worst and fatal weapons in the world when not operated correctly with or without a radar detector.

Dude, you keep saying should should should, but do people do it? Does everyone drive attentively and safely? Hell no, retards are all out there. With a radar, those bad drivers will be more inclined to drive safely and follow the laws more when they think there are law enforcers nearby. It is common sense that everyone SHOULD drive safer. Shit, its common sense that everyone SHOULDN'T kill or steal but does it happen still? Yeah.

Well until that day comes, I'll keep doing it. Hard to believe I havent driven past a HP who hasnt had a bad day.

What kind of system are you installing OP?

That car is artwork sitting still. I personally would not want to hear anything more then the 12 noise makers that already come with the car. But I am interested to see what happens with this install.
