Posted December 7, 200915 yr Im Looking For Some Front Stage Components, *Tweeter And MidRange*Dont Know Much About Components so any advice or recomendations Would Be Great !!Need Something That Will Get Loud But I KNow You Cant Have SQ and SPL so More On The Clarity Side.I Would Like Them To Keep Up With The Bass Seeing That They Will Be Running With A BTL 15"
December 7, 200915 yr come on dude, 230 posts! you should know the drill around here. read the guide lines and get back to us with more info please.
December 7, 200915 yr One set of components would most likely not be able to keep up with a 15 BTL if it's being run even close to it's full potential...... but, to answer your question, there's alot of sets available that could do well, if you're budget limited, Image Dynamics CTX65CS components are really nice, Phoenix Gold RSD6.5CS, PPI 365CS to name just a few.... all with pretty good SQ and get fairly loud too... it would be best if you could listen to some before you buy to see if you can find the ones that sound best to you.... also, make sure that you read up on proper installation practices, just sticking them in the factory hole and calling it a day IS NOT proper installation.... Sound deadening, acoustic damping, MDF baffles and more make up the recipe for a proper installation....
December 7, 200915 yr Author Alton, Thank You, I will check them out and let you know which ones i like,i want to keep it under the $300 price range for 2 sets of components
December 7, 200915 yr The Phoenix Gold's can be had for ~$80 a set and the PPI's can be hard for ~$140 a set so both will be under $300 for two sets.... The ID's are about $180 a set, but well worth it....
December 7, 200915 yr Why not go active if your looking for a midrange and tweeter combo? (just curious)

December 8, 200915 yr If you want midbass, you are going to need something beefier than a 6.5 which doesn't bode well for just buying a set of comps. Depends really on your final goals though which so far I cannot tell what they are from teh information given.
