Posted December 19, 200915 yr I'm on the search for an affordable amp that will do rated power.Looking for 2000w @ 1ohm.It will be pushing hopefully a pair of Icon 15's or z15's.Electrical: 200amp h.o AlternatorOptima yellow under the hood1/0 Big three. Also on the search for a decent battery to add to the back if need be.
December 19, 200915 yr Affordable means something different from one person to the next.A price range would be more effective, IMO.

December 22, 200915 yr You can try one of these from Db-r and save a little coin. It doesnt mention whether it is old or new style heatsink. Since it doesnt say, then I assume its the new.SAZ2000D refurb

Since it doesnt say, then I assume its the new.SAZ2000D refurbThey only have one style of heat sink on the SAZ2000D's. That is the newer ones to the 1500s and 3000s, with the mirrored amp model and extra cooling fins.

December 25, 200915 yr You have alot of good choices out there.Just make sure you think into the future and pick an amp you can grow with. You can buy a bigger amp and keep the gain all the way down.
