My girlfriend has a 2010 Elantra and wants a basic system that'll sound good and have decent output. She really likes the look of DC subs and I already know DC makes good quality stuff. I'd like to get her a single Level 3 12 in a nice box made my Pound that Sound or Fisher Customs. The amp that caught y eye to power the Level 3 12 is a Kicker ZX750.1. Is that a good quality amp?

Kicker makes great amps, that won't be a problem. Just remember they do rated power at 2 ohms.

And they have a set sub sonic filter so if you build a ported enclosure you will have to do the tuning around the sub sonic filter and not what you want. I have used Kicker amps and install them in the past with no problems what so ever. Kicker makes great products period IMO.

For mainstream quality amplifiers, Kicker is a good choice.

I've had a lot of Kicker amps and they allways worked super.

the first kicker amps ive owned were 2 kx 1200.1s strapped them and was very impressed with them. had a zx750.1 and still impressed, u wont be disappointed.

If you're getting a good deal on it, by all means do it. Are there better amps? Definitely.

JL, Rockford, Kicker are all really good "mainstream" amps.
