We cannot fit a port in Sean's vehicle to tune that low -- so no you won't see 28-30 Hz tuning in there.

You can tune to 35 and be more than good for rock / metal.

oh... pretty much everyone that ive talked to said to go sealed or 28-32 for rock/ metal

Try 30-35hz and you will be ok, regardless of how many videos he shows you it wont determine how it will respond and react in your vehicle. Every system is car and install dependent, you just have to make a compromise that is what car audio is all about.

yeah cant really tell much from videos. its going in a blazer and ive heard they arent hard to get loud in so that shouldnt be a problem. thanks for the help guys, sorry about asking so many questions. just want to get this right the first time around
