Red paint to cover the outside of the box to match a 05 mustang gt and the port will get another coat of black.

    Just primed it. The port will stay black and the whole box will be metallic red like the 05 mustang GTs.

    Well, I wasted the paint. :( I need a spray gun soon. Painting will be so much easier. At least the owner still likes it for some weird reason. There was still about half the quart left and he is going to use it to paint a spoiler.

    Next time, use wood filler with a spatula for the recessed screws before your prime.

    How many coats of paint did you use, looks like just one?

    I do that when they want me to. He didn't care. It was 2 coats. It needed to be sprayed. I am in the process of getting a compressor and a paint gun.
