Posted April 9, 201015 yr I've always been a fan of sealed boxes. I know alot of you are anti-sealed and also feel that sealed setups can't get loud, but I beg to differ. Which of these could get louder sealed? 2 IA Lethal Injections 12s1 IA Death Row 151 SSA Xcon 152 SSA Icon 12s2 DC Level 3 12s

Most people prefer ported but I believe quite a few people on here have sealed. Also I can almost bet that everyone on here will say that this is based on installation. There is no real way to tell which will seem "louder" without hearing each of those in the car you will have and how you are going to have it set up. My one Lethal Injection could sound "louder" than a death row in certain circumstances. And not to be an ass but I think someone ask this question AT LEAST once a day. If you had read the forum rules and guidelines it says that questions about such and such vs another is usually a worthless topic. Now that I have stated that. I hope you get the answer you are looking for but I am just giving you some friendly advice and what to expect from other forum members. They will probably also ask you questions like electrical upgrades etc. Anyway on that note. Jeremy

April 9, 201015 yr Admin I know what my choice would be, but that does not help you. You need to give some more info outside of amp, loud, and sealed. Some of those drivers are a little more sealed friendly then others, as stated on this site all the time, it is all about the install.
April 9, 201015 yr Pick one of the two 12s setups. "There is no replacement for displacement."Not always true, motor force and other things come into play when comparing two different types of subs.
April 9, 201015 yr Loud is a word that can be defined differently by each of its own. So, i don't know what you mean when you say loud. Also, you shouldn't decide on the equipment you are going to get on the factor of what will sound louder in a sealed box because thats asinine.. you should research the equipment you are wanting and figure out what kind of enclosure best suits the driver. I have only seen people buy drivers based on what enclosure it would be best in is when space is the main issue.
