Posted April 18, 201015 yr i need a 2 OHM amplifier, obviously kicker makes the best of the bunch. but i need a good lead to a cheaper 2 ohm amplifer, company, or just model
April 18, 201015 yr Audiopipe AP30001D. Coming from a competitor standpoint, they are stout enough to survive in the lanes and for everyday use. Stable to 2ohms @3,000w and has been tested by me personally to accept a wired load down to 0.45ohms before rise for burps. It is protection happy that low but doesn't phase it's capability to recover immediately.
April 18, 201015 yr What power do you want ? For what speaker(s) ?How is your car electrical system ?
April 18, 201015 yr Need to know your budget. "As cheap as possible" and "Cheaper than Kicker" are not answers. State a dollar amount.Need to know what power @ 2ohms you are looking for.Need to know if you have any space/size constraints.Need to know if there are any features you require the amplifier to have.Would be helpful to know what speakers you were using.Would be helpful to know what your electrical system consists of, or if there will be any upgrades to the electrical system and what those are.
April 18, 201015 yr how about 2-saz 2000's? strapped they output 4000+ at 2ohm lol!!!and x2 on what notorious from martinique and impious said

April 19, 201015 yr Author 400 being my maximum budget, 1500-3000 @ 2 ohms, no size constraints, no features that stand out that are necsesarry, and 2 dual voicecoil 2 ohm 12 inch kicker l7s in a slant truckbox.and currently,0 gauge streetwires, 300A fuse, optima redtop, stock alt, and plan to add auxillary redtop.
April 19, 201015 yr Author between the kicker and the audiopipe, which one is gonna push harder? and is the audiopipe stable at 2 ohms?
April 19, 201015 yr ap is 2ohm stable check the book if you are looking on ebay most seller label ti as 1ohm which is incorrect!which will push harder? how about whihc will be more bang fro your buck? (AP) to know about AP ask shizzzon about it he has done testing and what not!
April 19, 201015 yr Author sounds great, and it may be more bang for the buck but id like a legit comparison, it honestly sounds great but i want the real deal
April 19, 201015 yr i go about reliability and performance of an amp.The amp puts out, no doubt. It's not overrated. It is durable as hell. I know for a fact the Kicker is a higher quality amp just like there is always gonna be a higher quality out there. But in terms of push harder? U cant hear a power difference even if the power varied by a couple hundred watts.I like AP because their Customer service is good, prices are cheap, and performance can't be beaten when comparing the cost.
April 19, 201015 yr Author i agree the prices are astounding. (compared to kicker) but if you (shizzon) thinki should go for the audiopipe i cant disagree, i just dont want any regrets, and i sure as hell want my subs to hit
April 19, 201015 yr when we first started playin with the APs, everybody was still leary about them...Several months later, me and others started pushin people to use them because of their reliability and performance. There are MANY people in my area right now running these AP amps and nobody has issues with them.Just because they are a mainstream company doesn't mean they are crap because they are so cheap.I bet you didn't know the MAP pricing of an AP30001D is over $600 did you?Just because people can get them half off at other places doesn't make them cheap. The companies that sell them for just over $300 is cheaper than dealer pricing. I know this because our local dealer told us this and doesn't think it's fair, lol.
April 19, 201015 yr lol he said FUCK! lool!!!I didn't know how that would show to him so I took it out. Ask me about how I treat my AP3k? lol.

Hope your wiring never grounds out.

April 19, 201015 yr lol if you are looking on ebay it says 1ohm BUT it should READ 2ohm!! trust me a type-o that nobody has ever taken the time to correct b/c they are lazy ppl. now with this in mind it is 2ohm at 3krms! enjoy! it is bassicaly 2-1500ap amps (which are 1ohm stable) put into 1 bigger heat sink!
April 19, 201015 yr I treat it like a dirty hot... lol. Well you get the idea. Its 3k at 2ohm minimal. Trust me, I have the amp and it says it right on the amp as well.
