I am going to be using my crossfire vr4000d. 4K @ 2ohms.

I believe my 2009 caliber srt4 has a 140A stock alt. No H.O. alts are made for this car yet I don't think.

What kind of electrical would you guys do for 4K?

for 4k:

Big 3

2-3 Batteries (maybe hc2400, or deka something)

h/o (200-300amps)

and a LOT of 1/0 wire lol!!

Well I don't think I could get a h/o alt. Since they don't make them yet for my car. And don't want to void my warranty.

Was thinking like a kinetik 1800 up front and kinetik 2400 in the rear with my stock 140A alt. But that might not cut it I don't think.

How many runs back to batts?

Just shipping is so expensive for me for XS & Kinetik. One Deka 9A31 costs $385.85 CND with taxes and fees.

What would you guys do now?

Well I'm going to lol. Got my subs being custom made right now to handle 4k. And getting thumper to make the enclosure.

Your amp probably wont last to long unless you beef up your electrical

second that....whats the point in upgrading to kinetik batteries when your stock alt. wont charge them??? :ohnoes9:

I'm asking what I should do with my electrical. I never bought any electrical yet. Just trying to figure out what to buy for the cheapest cost. I don't want to void my warranty. So what could I do to handle the 4k?

There is no cheap way to run 4k. You HAVE to get a h/o alt.

I am 100% sure someone makes one, or could make one.

Only company that I seen makes one is Iraggi. Iraggi Caliber Alt

I just think it would void my warranty. What you guys think? And will 220A be enough?

Ok, if you guys say it won't void my warranty I will get that alt. Now what kind of batteries should I get and how many? Would just a kinetik 1800 up front and 2400 in the rear work? I need some opinions to make sure this is done right.

Adding an alt won't void your warranty.

A 220 would defiantly help, alot.

I'm not set on Kinetik lol. Just using it as a reference on how big the batts will be. At first I was going to get a XS D3400 for the front and a D3100 in the rear. So expensive to ship to northern bc canada. Just figuring out what would be best right now.

Since you seem set on Kinetik I would do an 1800 up front and at LEAST 2 2400's in rear.

I'm just saying F it and doing my whole stereo at one time. Want it done before June 12th. The stereo comp here is on that day and want to blow the competition away.

Cost me about $450 for a single XS Power D3100. And I don't know if that's without taxes. So it's very expensive to buy batts here.

A deka 9A31 costs $385.85 with taxes and fees. So I have the choice of getting those Deka's, XS Power, or Kinetik from audiosavings.

Or single batts from ssackett from the other forum. Like $200 shipped for each. I think they may be made by sprinter. He said there as big as a kinetik 2000.

What would you guys do?

You get what you pay for when it comes to batteries. Pick up that HO alt from Iraggi for sure. I prefer XS Power batteries, but if you can get the Deka's cheaper, go with those.

PM me if you want to know where to get dekas for 100 + shipping with (1 year warranty too I think). :D

Also, I can give you DC Power's owner's cell and he will have something for you. I blast my 3k at idle (700-800 rpms) a lot with a deka 9a31 in the trunk and a 9a34 under the hood.

I ordered a 220a alt from Iraggi. Now would two 9a31's in the rear and like a batt sized like a kinetik 1400 or 1800 in front work?

It's ridiculous on the shipping for batts to me lol.

This might help you..

D925 upfront and a D3100 in the back sounds pretty amazing to me. Have some extra juice ;)

Yeah I looked at that chart. But people are saying to go with like two d3100's in the rear and one small xs batt up front.
