Hi guys,

After lots of research I decided I'd really like to get the Icon 12. I'm most likely putting this in a prefabbed box so I need to make sure it will fit.

Does anybody have the magnet diameter for this sub? I see the mounting depth but not the magnet diameter listed on the product page.

I've posted it before, cant recall right off hand but I believe it is 6.75".

Looked for the post but found a tape measure on the desk instead, it is 6.75"

I have a followup question. Would 1.25cuft be good airspace for the Icon?

My goal is more SQ than all out SPL

Is that 1.25ft^3 before or after the sub displacement?

Before sub displacement.

Should be fine, you could always add polyfill to make the enclosure appear bigger to the speaker.

Thanks bromo for finding that info. I took those pictures a while ago, and those are of the last 1st gen Icon (still BNIB), but the slug dimensions have not changed.
