Posted June 3, 201015 yr Bolt down ring is done for the next production run that will be on it's way to me shortly. It sits on top of the spider insider of the top lip on the frame and bolts in from the back - this way the cone can't come down and smack the bolt heads.

June 3, 201015 yr Author so do us with the that order the first ones need to make any modifications or should be alright??If you are running higher than 400-watts RMS you should consider adding epoxy like my tutorial shows :Tutorial: How to strengthen spider landing glue on SA-8 - SSA Car Audio Forum

It's quite uncommon for the spiders to come off anyway -- and you are well within the box size and power range. The bolt down is primarily for SPL competitors (like me) who burp 1000-2000+ watts on them.
June 14, 201015 yr would u think 2 of these would be better or 2 truebass ultras? they would be in a box a lil over 2 cubes tuned to 31hz powered by a SAZ 1500 SA-8 @ 1ohm and the trubass @ 2ohms. thanks jacob
June 15, 201015 yr Author I have no specs on the TB ultra at all to go by... so I have no clue.Pricing is still the same on these (not pre-order pricing) -- $129 each.
