August 5, 201015 yr Author DMM check coils, check wiring. Is your amp not turning on because subs don't "turn" on or off?I pushed on the sub it moves freely. I had tested the amp with another sub and it works. The wiring going in is fine. Could it just be somehow both terminals got fried?
August 5, 201015 yr Pushing on the cone can only tell you that there's no noise from coil scratches. Get the DMM and read the coils. Get the sub out and look at the tinsels and check for physical anomalies.
