I got 3k and 7 cubic feet before displacement to play with, what can I do to get a hairtrick? Budget is 600 dollars for just the subs. GO.

As much cone area as you can fit, but it's impossible to suggest somehting that will work when we absolutely NOTHING about your installation.

There is a ton of factors here. It is not that easy. This will take planning.

What else would you like to know? Its a 2000 Ford Ranger Extended cab. I currently have 2 12" Type R's on 1k and it moves some air but not enough lol I can kinda move a shirt when its in the window.

Hmmmm, I thought about that but its wayyy to far out of my price range

This would do it.

:roflmao:

You beat me to it, good one Sir :drink40:

Just use the fan. it would work like a champ and it would save you some money!

im just going by my personal experience, but if your barely moving a shirt with 2 12" type R's its gonna take alot more for a hair trick, i have a single 15 on 600 watts and i can get a shirt moving pretty good and a tiny bit of hair movement. its mostly install dependant (this is in a extended cab dodge dakota)

my goal is a decent hair trick as well, thats why this past week i ordered another 15 and an AQ1200D, doubling watts and doubling cone area should definatlely help

7 cubes gross? You could maybe fit 2 15's or an 18.

A 15" BTL would work but like stated above crap info=crap answer.

Doubling cone area and power won't guarantee more air movement. You will probably end up with too much sub.

What do you mean by "too much sub"? :puzzled:

Doesn't moving a lot of air require a larger port area? If so the 7cu' will go really fast.

That "fan post" has me speechless!

To be effective, whether being loud or trying to move tons of air, it's not about cramming as many woofers in a vehicle as you can. There is a thing as too much woofer.

So would 2 15's and 4k do the trick? In the right box

absolutely not, but if you have a true 4095 watts then maybe...how the hell are we supposed to know. Give it a try and come back and report

What are your space measurements?

Yeah 4095 wats and the fan would get it done. Could also use a lea blower.

Seriously how good does a hair trick sound and what does it meter? Strange goal for your system IMO.
