Hey You.

:noob:

If they were intended to be a part of the vehicle, they would have loctite on them from the factory!! :thanx:

"Progressive Mileage Enhancements"=4-18 ZCONS. :gift:

Screw "green", you're taking saving the planet to a whole new level. :drink40: Everybody should step in line, or else.

I really wish I could experience this in person. Not just the subs, but the front stage as well. :fing34:

All joking aside. How did you come to where you are?

I'm curious/intrigued, because everybody gets their first sub, and wants more. The taste of bass can be like a intoxicating.

What was your first sub, what hooked you, and can you list your progression to today?

I see allot of people (on forums) with, apparently, no thought as to how to put together a cohesive package.

You had a goal in mind, use the seat belts or be vibrated out of the vehicle. However, you took the time to plan a front stage to keep up with/match the sub stage.

Unlike allot I've seen that just keep adding component sets and diminishing returns/wasted money.

Could you give me a quick summary of your past systems that lead you to this one.

Thanks and great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Not such a young man anymore, but all started when I was 16. First system was a RF punch 45, punch 150, and some Cerwin Vega Moofers.

:fing34: I was hooked from that day and still am. Dont really think I will ever stop being a basshead, but my tastes have grown to like things not only very loud, but to really sound good too.

I have always had something going on in every car I have had, even company cars much to the owners dismay. lol I was very fortunate to have the company cars for a good many years of my life, but since they were not mine I couldn't really go crazy with them and I missed it. Long story short, I lost that job and bought the Yukon. Decided it was time for something really big again and here we are.

I did give it an honest effort to try and grow up a little bit with the Dynaudio and 15" Xcons not too long ago, but fact is I love it loud and in your face. Always have. I do plan on getting another car here one day and making the Yukon more of a toy than a DD, and will do a little something with the Dyn's again. Read much smaller scale. :roflmao:

Even though I have installed hundreds of systems in my life, I have learned more from the good folks on SSA than I did in all those years. I swear there are some on here that amaze me with the knowledge they have. Agree or disagree with how it's put out there there is a lot to be learned from this tech team.

Thanks and great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Buddy. I really appreciate that!

Well said!!

Amazing install brother, from the door pods to the quad 18's whole thing makes me so Hawneyyyyy, you are very talented, ive been drooling over your truck as well ever since i saw it on the "tahoeyukonforum" i remember talking to you over there a while ago my name was "DIY_DAD" unfortunately i had to sell my HO due to losing my job :suicide-santa: and gas prices here in so cal are now around $4.30 / Gallon for 87 octane, i loved my HO and always hoped for something amazing like yours, so keep up your amazing work, and keep your beautiful truck shining, BTW, .....i havent seen crunch amps since high school, and never really cared about em, but since your install i knew you are intelligent and researched these crunch amps, and i guess they are amazing quality and nothing like the old garbage crunch stuff, where did you buy them, any more info on them would be greatly appreciated, thanks man, much respect................Todd

Crunch is a good budget company.

Only wish they would make another PRO amp or two. A 3k and 5k at a affordable price like the old GP3000dPro would WIN.

I wish I would of bought a few of the pro's when they came out. It was a helva deal really. And A lot of people didn't really catch on until it was discontinued.

I'm trying to talk Lance into getting more power and selling me two of his Crunch for my new build.

I'm still waiting on a free day Me and Lance have at the same time to update yall with videos. With a few surprises in store also.

If anybody hasn't seen the videos, visit....

Don't let him lie to y'all. The wife told him he could only go with the icons. I told him to man up and beg her to let him buy some xcons instead.

No walkthrough yet.

Its coming, I swear. And also, should have some more random videos and a few surprises.

In between me farming almost every waking hour at the moment(I'm planting all my crops) and Lance living in a few towns over, its been tough to have a chance to get up and shoot some videos. But I should be getting caught up this week, and should have next weekend off,to actually do stuff I wanna do.

I'll keep everybody updated when I get more footage. Hopefully like I said by this weekend.

I haven't even heard his setup in 2 weeks, I need my loud bass fix. Lol.

Thanks Buddy! I feel ya on the gas prices. Hurting me real good right now as much as I drive. Sorry about the job, hope you are finding some luck on finding another one.

The only "really" nice Crunch amps were some of the real old school ones and the GP3kPro's that I have. The 3k's were a tremendous bang for the buck. Rated 3000w at 12.4. All the other newer Crunch are rated max watts, so just know what your getting. They are still nice, but expect it to do about half what it's rated to. The 3k's are discontinued unfortunately. I already got people in line to buy these if i ever upgrade. lol Pretty sure I could sell all 4 tomorrow. I am giving thought to buying a couple bigger amps, but right now $$ is not there to get what I want. So............ :ughdunno:

Don't let him lie to y'all. The wife told him he could only go with the icons. I told him to man up and beg her to let him buy some xcons instead.

True story! Well kinda. lol My first purchase of Xcons was from Quentin this much is true, but I would never ask for permission, only forgiveness. :roflmao:

every time i see your system, i  lol. keep it up! may have missed it... have you done a walk-thru vid yet?

EDIT: Post #1,000! :woot:

Thanks a lot Man. I really appreciate that.

No, not yet Bro. I need to do one tho, but my producer and I have been strapped for time and I have been sorting out some HU and voltage issues. I got her fixed now, so looks like it's time for some more VIDS.

:dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

More vids!!!! :woot:

I'll get my popcorn ready!! :popcorn2:

Finally got my voltage regulated!! No damn fun starting out at 13.2 volts on a 30 second run. :suicide-santa:

Son of a Bitch I am glad that's over with. It was driving me crazy! :WTFBubble:

Now that the voltage issues are out of the way it's time to make some more progress on this build.
