hey guys im deciding on what to get in my setup but i was wondering about the Audioque AQ2200D i was thinking of running two of these with 2 FI BL 15s. on the audioque site it says if your not careful you might burn a coil or fold a cone ... i know the FI subs are tough but how do you think they will go.

Thanks

:suicide-santa: Set your gains accordingly do not use bass boost.....and don't do anything dumb.

Agreed with Julian... I doubt that you will burn a coil or fold a cone with that amp on a pair of BLs. Granted if you do everything possible in your setup wrong... you could damage things. But 90% of the time it is due to overexcursion from improper subsonic filter settings vs enclosure tuning. I cant remember the last cone fold we had. Maybe Mike Bartells extreme vehicle 3 years ago?

Should be an easy match for the subs with the right enclosure and settings.

Thanks,

Scott

You want to use one 2200 watts amp to each BL. :ohnoes9:

That's a lot of power if it's at 1 ohm. BL's are rated for 1000 watts rms, aren't they ?

One AQ 2200 seems to be enough for a pair of BL's.

It's REALLY hard to fold a pulp cone, you have to be using gargantuan amounts of power or have settings incorrect.
