November 21, 201014 yr Author You build to win at finals bottom line, you guys mentioned sibleys crx did it do it at 30-40hz nope....enough said. Bottom line is in a crx you can pull big numbers, you just have to invest time and testing. At lower freq you can do 150s all day with 4-12s and a fair amount of power, its just not going to be comp winning which is fine, because the OP isnt after that. I said it before I would do subs up port/ports back an you will be fine. When you say "fair" amount, is that like >5k? lol that's further down the line.

November 22, 201014 yr Author Got the SDS in. Looks super solid, the EBR is super thick. Should work well with how sticky this stuff is.The little plastic baggie is paper to press the rope down with, so it doesnt stick to your fingers, and not where you're trying to apply it.14 CLD tilesTime to get it in the car!
November 22, 201014 yr Author Ok, getting the stock "deadener" off is a pain. A whole lot of plastic cover, DUCT TAPE?!, and sticky rubber stuff. People have "patched" the stuff up with the good ole' american saying, "it'll fix anything". Oh wow haha.Stock pic.Stripped most of it down. There are little pieces of the white rubber stuff still on there, i didnt REALLY think they would hurt anything. Too much of a pain to get it all off of there. Heck, maybe it will help a bit? Oh well.
November 22, 201014 yr Author And after a wipe down i started cutting the tiles up, and applying to the door.First tile..Door doneI think i forgot to take pics. of both doors my bad.I think that the EBR made the largest difference in door resonance. Just putting a thick layer down on the side impact bar and the outside skin helped a TON. If you're deadening your door, GET EBS AND PUT IT THERE, AT LEAST.
November 22, 201014 yr Author I ran out of EBR to do what i planned on with the large holes. Don told me how to make a "sandwich" of 3/8' metal sheets, cut to the shape of the hole. Put a bunch of ebs between two of the same sheets, bake it, and roll the EBS all over the inside, then use self-tapping screws to apply and seal to the holes. With yet another boarder of ebs to make a good seal on the door pannel. This can be a future deadening project, no reason not to sometime or another.
