Posted November 24, 201014 yr so, i tried searchin...but said i cant search for "big 3" because of html codes or something. but i was wondering, about how many feet of 1/0ga did you guys use to do your BIG 3? i ask because i wont have my car untill next week and im gonna go ahead and order my amp kit, wire etc...thanks -jonathan
November 24, 201014 yr Author also, if you would list what kind of car you have that would be great. i have a 1994 Camry v6
November 24, 201014 yr I have a scion xb and i believe the engines are fairly similar. Might be newer camrys I dont know off the top of my head. But I used at most 7 feet. Although I would probably order 10 just to be on the safe side.
November 24, 201014 yr Don't know. What kind of car?How are you going to route it?You need to measure it with some string or whatever you use to follow the chosen path. Are you using this 1/0 to power your amps and so on, if so you'll need even more.

November 24, 201014 yr Overkill now is just right later. At least that's my theory.^X2!!! It is cheaper to have a little more than you need than not enough.
November 24, 201014 yr Shortest route possible from point A to point B in a safe manor for the engine compartment.
November 24, 201014 yr Author Seriously? It's $2 a foot take a good guess and add 10'.where is it $2/ft? i was looking at knu and its $3.40/ft. weldingsupplies.com or something like that?

November 24, 201014 yr Author well when comparing to "speaker wire" like Knu wire... still the same? Edited November 24, 201014 yr by swagger_wagon468
November 24, 201014 yr No, but welding wire is nice and plenty flexible to do the job.Spend double so you can wrap it around your little toe if you want to, but it's not needed.

(just to be safe. its only $20 from knu)-15ft of 1/0ga from welding suppliessound like i have everything?
November 24, 201014 yr Author Just make sure the Knu amp kit has remote wire, and your set yea it comes with the Klarity RCA which has the remote wire "attached" to it.check it out.https://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-AK8
