December 14, 201014 yr Author well i just got back from dallas. something is still wrong. i cant get it loud at all. and when i was trying to set my gain i couldnt get past 19.5vlts or so with my bass and sub at 0 on my HU. the low volume it plays at sounds great though.
December 14, 201014 yr Author yea i put it at 15, turned the volume to 22 and then set the voltage to 31.6 but it isnt loud at all. my girlfriends brother has a 10 with like 200watts that gets louder
December 14, 201014 yr do you know what voltage your amp is getting ?? My Icon is plenty loud on a 500w JL Audio amp.
December 14, 201014 yr Author what do you mean. like the voltage coming out of the HU sub preout? or the voltage i set my gain to?
December 14, 201014 yr what do you mean. like the voltage coming out of the HU sub preout? or the voltage i set my gain to?I think he means the voltage from the electrical system
December 14, 201014 yr NO, like the power and ground wires coming from your battery to the amp... Low voltage could possibly cause this "not loud" problem... I'm really baffled at you not having a personal vibrator in your front seat caused by your Xcon... I can get my balls jiggling with some bass boost but don't like the sound... But it is loud.. December 14, 201014 yr Author so just use my dmm and put the + and - in the power and ground spots on my amp?
December 14, 201014 yr Author if i normally listen to it around 15 or so should i reset my gain with the volume around there?
