Sweet build xcons are sickThanks Watched the first vid again and I have to say again that cover for the HU is SIC!!! that!!Thanks man After we get moved into our house I am completely redoing everything. I am building a much smaller sealed enclosure for the XCON, magnet out. I am sinking the battery in the trunk floor so I can put my spare tire back in. I need to build kickpanels, door pods and tweeter pods. Hopefully I can continue to impress I can not freak'n wait to hear my Viper components and Exodus 6.5" midbass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jamming out with stock speakers sucks Edited April 12, 201114 yr by edouble101
April 12, 201114 yr I managed to get my components to fit in the stock locations, using the stock brackets even, it wasn't hard.

I am making door pods for the midbass, mids in the kicks and tweeters in the sail panels. How did you run your speaker wire through the door jam into the door? Do you have pics?alternator looks sick.... loving the voltage....Voltage is better but bounces around from 13.4v to 15.1v. DC Power said the alt pulley maybe too small, I am waiting for them to get back to me.

May 1, 201114 yr Author I haven't had any time to work on my build. New box and trunk layout coming soon, it is going to be tits! I am dying to work on my front stage too I had to return my DC Power alt. For some reason it stopped producing any output whatsoever, completely dead Hopefully I will get it back from DC Power in good working condition Little vid of the XCON doing it's thang.........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaqjvbGKRYQ
May 1, 201114 yr Author was video taken before or after removal of DC alt???I took this video today. The stock alt has been back in my car now for about two weeks. At idle the stock alt runs around 14.2-13.8v with the system off. It is only a 90amp @13.8v
May 2, 201114 yr My stock alts voltage varies like crazy. Not even dependant on temp or rpm. Trade stock alts?
May 2, 201114 yr Author My stock alts voltage varies like crazy. Not even dependant on temp or rpm. Trade stock alts? The voltage from the DC alt jumped around ridiculously but voltage on average was 1v higher than my stock alt. The DC alt held voltage good at idle were as my stock alt falls on its face.Go crazy on your grounds, that really helps.

I could then drive for two hours so its hot, park somewhere and get lunch, get back in, and my voltage is 14v+. Talk about sporadic.A few extra grounds can't hurt any, and I do have some extra wire laying around... If I ever for some weird chance happen to be in PA, I've got to hear your car though!
May 2, 201114 yr Every time i see an Xcon flex, it blows my mind. I need some of that excursion, for sure!Sucks about the foam on the surround/dust cap
