Ok so i have had my Fi BTL for a cppl months now and i was bumping it today and the Dustcap flew off. Does my warranty cover repairs on that? if so how do i go about getting it fixed?

Ya some 5 minut epoxy should fix it no problem

There is no warranty on the BTLs. As said up above epoxy will work best. IF the dustcap is cracked or not usable then you can purchase another one by contacting Scott or Nick.

Yeah, that's not covered under the warranty.

Simple fix is by reglueing it using 5 min epoxy as stated above.

If you really want to send it in you can..

But it is a huge waste of time and money. We'll gladly fix it for you if you want us to.

It is easier for you to pop it back on with some 15 minute loctite brand epoxy and put something heavy on top of it to weigh it down over night like a Gatorade bottle.

Funny?

It usually takes a good amount of pressure to blow it off. Usually it happens in a smaller box with minimal port area and a good deal of power.

Some subs was notorious for blowing caps off quiet a bit even in optimal enclosures.

I highly recommend Amazing Goop for most speaker repairs involving the cone or surrond. It can be bought at Lowes.
