just bought a 98 Lincoln towncar and getting a temp system with a small footprint to keep trunk space. the car has a huge trunk but I only want to utilize the back deck portion of the trunk which measures 44w by 13h by 16 deep(could go deeper)... gives me about 4.24 cubes. any ideas or feedback is appreciated

What are your goals, what type of music do you listen to, have any electrical upgrades been done or at least planned? Why 4 subs and 2k for a temporary setup?

SA 8's ftw

I listen to mostly reggae and rap.... just curious to see what that set up would do... electrical will be d3100 and d2700, big 3, and at least 220a alt... I also have a shade v1 12 that I wouldn't mind using

why not just use what you've got if it's only temporary anyway

I'd go sa8's. Mostly because you can get them for about 100 shipped on the forum. And save yourself some money. Not to mention. I love the look on peoples faces when they hear your system. And then you open the trunk and show them 8" subs.

Or buy another nightshade 12. And run two 12's on 4 cubes for similar money.

Now I'm leaning toward the 2-12's.
