Very nice. Does Andrew add t-nuts or any other way to screw down the sub other than regular wood screws?

No, but he wouldn't know where to put tnuts either, since some baskets may have the holes space out a little differently.

Wood screws work fine, I don't plan on taking the xcons in and out.

:)

Definitely didnt think about that aspect of it. The box looks crazy in your car(in a good way). Suspension sagging at all?

hey no worries man! any time I can help out no problem! it is funny though how it was almost 3db differences from the TL vs the Makeitlouder meter. because when I was using it was always +/- 0.75db o

  • Not sure how to calibrate it And my dmm certainly isn't fancy, but I figured if it's reading a constant voltage then it's probably working Perhaps because we're at different altitudes and climates?

Oh yeah, I need to order stiffer springs :P

I know it's a tease, sorry about the shit quality. I'll make another one with much better quality tomorrow afternoon.

Video fully rendered and doesn't look like shit anymore. :woot:

Ill have to record half way into put on jeezy. I can literally move my hand around and feel pockets of air, especially near doors

So I just drove for about an hour playing dub step and jeezy.

The xcons sound great, couldn't really ask for any better sq to be honest.

Enclosure is sick, definitely wouldnt sound the way it does weren't for Andrew, thanks man!

I turned the gain up so more, and surprisingly my voltage wasnt that bad :P

I think after a dc alt and readjusting gain it should be very close to 150.

I remember in the jeep, some songs were noticeably louder then others, good for demos.

Well just about anything is loud in the Volvo, and everything is closer in terms of output.

Put on, young jeezy, half way through there's that big bass line, feels like a wall ac unit just turned on full blast.

Have to fix my left tweeter pod, its pretty loose.

Glad to see you have the xcon's slam'n!

Haha not bad for SQ drivers Stefan!

I know right? Well have to meet sometime so I can hear your SAs

Yeah without a doubt idk what I'm going to do yet though have to decide between 4 10's or 3 12's. I'm going to get 2 12's for a really good deal off of my buddy so I'll have 3 10's and 2 12's just need to decide what to get reconed and what I need to sell. Got Sa's all over.

Just beautiful man :drink40: Glad it worked out for you, and your not done yet once you get the tune down and that alt in there..................... well u know the rest. Congrats

:turkey:

wangin hard!

 the autograph in the enclosure! Cool stuff!!

Asking again, how did you get it in?? Rear hatch area looks tight for the size of the box, plus that things gotta be a beast to lift with the subs in...

Deff. fits in there perfectly. How much space is there between the back of the enclosure and the rear hatch?

Congrats!!!! Volvo is coming together very well!!!

There was no way to put box in and mount drivers. So drivers were mounted in box and my buddy grabbed one end and I grabbed the other.

We just angled it in and pulled from inside. Fits perfectly. There's about 5-6" of breathing room for the ports depending on where your measuring from (hatch part curves)

The pods look good homie!! Sucks to lose the door pocket, but definetly makes the pods look cleaner the shape you went with this time. The box looks EVIL!!! Andrew does some SUPER clean work. I still can't believe you only payed 5k for that car. You stole that thing. :D

Thanks and yeah looks much better.

andrew did an awesome job, box is built like a tank. And yeah the car was a good deal, and wagon ftw Haha

Finally have something loud enough to really show off. Gotta try a hairtrick sometime soon :D

I just spent an hour reading this entire thread in Saturday school, and it was worth every second. Sweet car man, wagon FTW! Love the black grill accent with the powder coated rims! Looks sick! Nice bikes BTW.. Two stroke all the way! Hope you get your alt case soon enough :fing34: Enclosure is amazing with the Xcons and the aeros and... I'm jealous! Good luck man!

Thanks man, really appreaciate it.

dc is making a completely new alt for it, well see how that is!

Yep love 2strokes, mainly ride single track :)

Looks loud! :+1: for dash flex! is the top of the box at the top of the rear headrests? should get a shot from the front of the car to the rear.

Box sits 3" or so above the rear headrests.

The carpet dash cover kinda hides the dash flex, but it's pretty nuts to watch. When I first turned it up all the way when driving I was like my cars gonna fall apart, turn it down, everything sounds alright, turn it back up :D

It's hard to play all the time cause i feel like it's shaking everyone elses cars haha
