May 5, 201114 yr Author Got home from work today and Grasshopper had been at it. He got the dash all trimed out for the HU mounting plate. He still has to modify the face of the dash for the change of the location for the AC controls but it is looking good.

I will say that the steel bracket for mounting the HU is nice and sturdy compared to the plastic type.
May 5, 201114 yr lookin good, i have the same body style tahoe. tuned in to see how that double din hu looks in the dash , i was told it wouldnt work, but i see differently now not to mention whatever else you do with this thing. Everything ive seen you build so far as been awesome, im sure this will be no different. Post lots of pictures!
